We just transitioned from the infant car seat to the toddler seat for our 8 month old son and the biggest convenience is that it uses the same base! Of course the quality is unmatched and my son is always comfy enough to never cry on a car ride. Now that we are expecting another in a few months we excited to see how the Orbitbaby system grows with our family!

Every time we go out with it makes people turn twice, yes ! It’s that amazing. My toodler loves it as well. Love that I can use it with my stroller as well. I know I keep using “love” but I genuinely do. As a mom who is always on the go this car seat is so easy to put in and out of the car. I like the magnets on the side that keeps the straps from moving and the fact I can place the cup holder on both sides of the car seat.

United States14 years ago I was walking the streets of Menlo Park when I came across the original orbit stroller set. I was blown away by its design and functionality. I never forgot about the stroller. When I became pregnant last year I didn’t hesitate to purchase this stroller system. I get so many compliments especially when I’m taking my baby out of the car seat and people see that I’m not breaking my back. They all wish they had the same set up. When I purchased the toddler seat I didn’t love the angle of the seat. I was use to the infant seat which cradles the baby. The toddler seat is more upright. I quickly realized it didn’t matter. My daughter adjusted quickly and so did I. I recently put the toddler car seat on the stroller base for a doctors appointment. It was so convenient especially after she received her immunizations. Not having to move her twice made it more comfortable for her. Overall I love this entire system and I have every piece they offer: Infant Car Seat, Stroller Base, smart hub car seat base, jogger stroller, and toddler car seat. If we decide to have a second child I’ll be buying the helix and kick board for the stroller.

United StatesIt’s hard to put arms all the way around this to hit the side handles to pivot the car seat. I’m 5’1 and my daughter is rear facing. When I go to unlock the handles that allow it to pivot (turn) it’s so uncomfortable. I smash my daughter with my arms and have to get on my tippi toes to reach it. Other than that I love it.

United StatesI think this just comes with the nature of our babies growing , but the toddler seat is harder for me to swivel as needed than the infant seat. The swivel is a key selling point why we invested in the Orbit system, so we like that it's still available, it's just not as seamless as with the infant seat. Overall, our growing baby is still comfortable in the seat and SAFE, so we love it!
United StatesI had bought the infant G5 and absolutely loved it. We now transitioned to the toddler car seat and when I got it the car seat latches that go into the orbit swivel base were sticking and didn’t latch into the base. I was so frustrated, but I contacted their customer service and they are sending me a replacement car seat! Super happy with the service I received. They have wonderful products, so it must have been a manufacturing fluke.

United StatesFirst, the toddler seat came damaged, we reached out and another one was shipped. Minor inconvenience. The base of the toddler seat is too wide to sit flush to the bottom on the cars seat bottom, the bolsters don’t allow the toddler seat to sit flat. Without the use of a base it does not feel as secure, primarily using the seatbelt only as the security allows the seat to teeter from the left side. The quality isn’t there compared to the infant seat with base. Also this seat is so big it’s a huge hassle to get the child in and out of the seat, it barely fits in the car (Mercedes Eclass). Design team needs to work on some changes before I would recommend.

United StatesWe live in south Texas and have two of these seats in wool. They don’t get as hot as some other seats with cheaper fabric. Seating position is perfect, and we love the little cup holder that it comes with. Highly recommended!

Hey there, We do realize that this is a feature that a lot of parents request, but at this time because of the design, function and advantage of being able to attach our toddler car seat to any Orbit baby stroller frame, the base cannot be used forward facing. Doing this allows us to accommodate a heavier weight range, giving you more value and use out of your seat as your child gets older.

United StatesWe are so happy with this purchase. It took us a long period of time to commit to this device. We are so glad we did. Our baby loves it! The toddler seat is very heavy so it took some time for me to build strength taking our 15 month old in and out of the car when asleep in the seat. When taking the toddler seat out of the car, there are no handgrips to get a firm grip of the seat. Once the toddler is in the stroller there are zero tilt capabilities when your little one is sleeping. Extremely well made with some flimsy parts which has us scratching our heads. We bought the wool covering which is posh. The toddler seat works best with the car seat base which works only for rear seating. We set the base on a baby car seat cover in our car. Sometimes our little one crosses her legs en route and sometimes she flops her legs out of the car seat to both sides at once. It’s great but not at all perfect. Another nice feature is we can pull it up to tables at restaurants opting out of the high chair.
